I have a dilemma. haha
I had fun editing the photos I took last Sunday. It created more drama and more story to the photo. For someone who never liked to edit (well, more of ‘tamad’ to edit), I actually enjoyed it. Experimenting and giving the photo different tones. I’m thinking of buying Adobe Lightroom. :)
But I’m still not comfortable posting those that I’ve edited.
I still believe that photos capture rare moments. And nothing should be added or taken away from them.
Enhanced, yes. But let’s see. ;)

Thirteen minutes. It starts to drizzle. Do I go on? I've only ran for 13 minutes and it's been three weeks since the last time.
Twenty four minutes. It starts to pour. Oh well, I might as well go on. Buti I have my cap on.
Thirty minutes. I feel a pain on the left side right above my stomach. Runners call it a 'side stitch'. Murakami said "pain is inevitable, suffering is optional". This will soon pass, just 10 more minutes.
Forty three minutes. Pain is gone and the rain stops. A song plays with just the right beat. I feel lighter now, I increase my speed.
One hour forty seconds. I still want to run but I have to stop. It's enough for the day.
If only I could apply the same amount of focus and discipline in life, I know I'll reach places and achieve the goals I've set this year.
I love running. I love the breeze, sometimes even the rain. :)

I think that it’s not really that we can’t have everything (we want). It’s just that we can’t have something that is not meant for us.
But I have faith that He has something else planned for us, and somehow it may eventually feel like we have everything. We just have to trust Him.
I believe that it’s all a matter of time, and of seasons.

For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8
Tito Marlon, may He welcome you into the most beautiful place where there is no more pain and suffering.
We will miss you.

I've already seen the cd of this movie twice last year. I was interested but I didn't buy it since I've never heard of the movie and didn't know the actors in it. Saw it again last Sunday and it was on sale, so I told myself 'why not?', Rolling Stone said it was good.
I'm no movie review expert, but here's my take on the movie:
Simple and honest. Subtle but leaves you breathless with the words and the melodies. Think of Damien Rice and his song "The Blower's Daughter".
Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me
And I'm painted black
Irish musicians are great. U2, Damien Rice, The Corrs, Cranberries.
