I gave in. I watched 'Love without Talking' and '500 Days of Summer'. I think people, like me, love this movie because we can relate. It somehow helps us understand, or somehow gives us an idea, of why things turned out the way they did. It's just there really, we just have to look back. Not just the happy memories, but be brave enough to visit those other moments that will give us the answers. I have two favorite scenes. First was the "Expectations" and "Reality" scene. Ouch. Enough said. Second was that of Day 488. It's what people wish or hope to have at the end of it all. I also think that this scene is what makes this movie a movie because only a few people get to have this moment. I think people are scared to know the reasons why it never worked out. And this scene provided the answer which will really hurt, but will give people hope in love again. But like what I believe in, we really shouldn't wait for this day to get to Day 500. Just like what the voice over said: "Most days of the year are unremarkable. They begin, and they end, with no lasting memories made in between. Most days have no impact on the course of a life. May 23rd was a Wednesday…" May we all have our May 23rds until… J
*Plus Joseph Gordon-Levitt singing karaoke = hot, for me at least. There was something there. (angge smile/kilig) haha
